About the project
Architecture in the desert has never been merely about creating shelter. It has always been a response to climate, light, wind, and human life. This project transforms the traditional courtyard into the environmental and social heart of a contemporary workplace.
The central courtyard is the primary environmental engine of the complex. It creates a protected microclimate where shade, vegetation, thermal mass, and natural airflow work together to reduce surrounding temperatures and improve outdoor comfort.
The stone-clad volumes are intentionally designed with irregular limestone pieces assembled in a handcrafted pattern. These walls store heat during the day and release it gradually after sunset, stabilizing temperature fluctuations while reinforcing the project's connection to local geology and craftsmanship.
