About the project

The L7 Project is a profound reflection of OPD's commitment to contextual and sustainable architecture. Rooted in the climatic realities of Dubai, the design revolves around a central courtyard — an oasis of shade, serenity, and life — where a centrally positioned pool becomes both a visual and environmental core.

The entire villa is oriented inward, embracing the courtyard as a desert paradise, a timeless response to the region's intense heat and the cultural significance of enclosed, shaded living.

Natural ventilation is achieved through architectural wind tunnels, while a water wall gracefully cascades into the pool, adding sensory depth and passive cooling. The integration of solar energy and atmospheric water generation further reinforces the project's eco-conscious approach.
