About the project

NEWCLEUS symbolizes a scientific laboratory as a core learning space in modern universities, reflecting the growth of knowledge through research and experiments. The name combines “new” and “nucleus” to emphasize innovation, with the motto “…in search of new clues” highlighting this theme.

The design features a crescent shape, symbolizing local culture, with a central area for interdisciplinary communication among scientists. Advanced water technologies include an Atmospheric Water Generator for drinking water and air harvesting for irrigation, complemented by around 600 rooftop solar panels.

Sitting proudly in the centromere is the UAE map like a badge for the project. The UAE flag proudly adorns the top of NEWCLEUS, mirrored in a fountain below.
